Healthy Breakfast In A Hurry!

How many of you want to eat a healthy breakfast, but you have no time in the morning? I have the same problem! I also eat the very.same.thing.day.after.day!!!! Who else is guilty? I literally eat plain Greek yogurt sprinkled with cinnamon and blueberries and strawberries on top (depending on the season). Don’t get me wrong, I do love that, but it’s nice to have a little variety. Lately I’ve been on an “overnight oats” kick. Have you heard of them? This week I made chocolate strawberry overnight oats. They are super simple and delicious!

Here is what I used:

– 1 Cup steel cut oats

-1 Cup unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk

-1 tsp. organic Chia seeds

-1 Tbsp of organic Cacao powder

-1/8 tsp of organic vanilla extract

-chopped strawberries on top

Just stir all the ingredients together and put in the fridge overnight. Give them a stir before you eat them. They are meant to be eaten cold! My kids will even grab these to go! (I’m told they last 3-4 days in the refrigerator—mine never last that long! 😉 ).

These are the jars I used for my oats:
